AWESOME Lightening Storm!

I don't know about anyone else but we got one CRAZY storm here last night. I've never been in anything like it in my life! We walked out of the movie and it was raining really hard then we got in the car and started driving and the sky was black everywhere we could see! It was lightening in every direction. One would got off every second I swear. Then it started to rain even harder and then hail. We were afraid there would be dents in our car. It was seriously a storm from the movies. There was one point on the drive home on Wyoming Blvd that I grabbed Billy's hand because it got so bad we could only see if the lightening was close enough. :) I was just a tad nervous for a sec. I was glad when we got home. I got some video of it, but don't get to excited the video doesn't do a smidgen of justice. I guess you just had to be in it.

We got home and ran to our neighbors front porch to watch the rest of the show. He said that while we were in the movie there was a funnel cloud or two and the tornado sirens went off too. I didn't even know we had them.

I took like 15 videos trying to get a good one.

So that was our world last night and then we wake up this morning to beautiful blue skys and nothing is even remotely wet. Guess it was a much needed storm .

So one of the things on our summer list was to got to Independence rock. Billy has never been there and since we live so close it was a must. We would still like to make it to Martens Cove sometime soon too. It is such an amazing place. So we drove out there and hiked straight up and we had the whole huge rock to ourselves! Fun place to play!

This Weekend

So this weekend we went to Rexburg for Chase and Kami's wedding. Me and Kam are way good friends from school. They are such a cute couple and are perfect for each other. Kami was so beautiful and looked so happy. I got a couple good pictures of them but it was kinda hard I was in the back of herd of photographers.

I got to see some friends that i haven't seen since our wedding. This is Kayla one of my other roommates at school.
And don't forget Brittany! She just got back from her mission from Chili!We got to see kelly and brittany for a bit and went to lunch at Craigos! I love laughing with them!

Last week

I have a little bit of catching up to do for the past couple weekends. Last week we went to pinedale for the blessing of our newest neice. Emry Elisabeth Kennington. She is the sweetest little thing ever and she was actually born on my birthday! April 11th 8 lbs 3oz, 20.5 inches. She is such a good baby. It's easy to forget she is even there. She'll only make a couple squaks when shes hungry. She can make any person baby hungry. Billy's mom made her blessing dress and it was adorable. After they got her dress on her the first time she had a slight explosion of the diaper but luckily were able to get it cleaned and ready for church again! :) Here are a few pics of sweet little Emry.

We have the cutest neices and nephews ever. Our babies better be just as cute but it will be hard to get any cuter!

First Hike of the Year!

Last night after work and school we took advantage of the last few hours of sunlight. All the snow is gone and we were getting major cabin fever! So we went on our first hike of the year. This is around Alcova, the lake where we live. We got to the very top and it was so beautiful! I"m glad we brought the camera cuz we had a blast!

There were tons of these huge boulders balancing everywhere. They seriously looked like a little shove could push them down the mountain.

We got extra excercise jumping a hundred times to get a good picutre mid-air. It's harder than it looks! My C-jump is still in tact. :)

And then we had a time trying to jump right when the timer went off.

We are very glad to welcome the sun back and are looking forward to a fun summer! We wrote down a list of all the things that we want to do like, hiking, camping, swimming. Our goal is to do them all.

Slacker! Slacker!

Man! I can't believe it has been so long since the last time I posted anything! I don't even have any good excuses either like not having any internet or being too busy. I just haven't had the motivation for a while.

Billy and I really haven't been up to anything new lately. Just the same old daily stuff and we are looking forward to spring break in March. I always like having something to look forward to. When christmas was over and we came back to casper I wasn't sure if anything exciting was coming up for a while. But now we are looking forward to another break!

Billy is still working hard at school and is in his third semester now. He has this whole summer off from school so we are excited to be able to do more this summer. Soon we will find out where we will be going for his first internship, which won't be until next summer. He works construction on the side for a friend of ours whenever he can. And I am still working as a Dental Assistant.

That's really all thats going on. I told ya, nothing new. We will be glad when spring is truly here. It has been teasing us for quite a while. It was so nice after christmas for a couple weeks and all the snow was gone and then it dumped and dumped on us. Now the cycle is starting over and the snow is almost gone but I know i'm not lucky enough for spring to really be here yet. Its still February! Hope everything is going well for everyone. Sorry for my slackin on the posts!
